I am Renee (Ciru) Kihanya, a filmmaker and Photographer from Nairobi, Kenya, now based in Los Angeles. I have recently earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Filmmaking from the New York Film Academy. Having lived in Kenya and the Middle East, my multicultural background deeply influences my work, which explores the complexity of the human experience. My creative approach blends cultural and individual authenticity with strong visual storytelling.
